1. SCRIPTURE
We believe that the Scriptures of both the Old and New Testaments are inspired by God, that they are the final authority for faith and practice, and that the King James Bible is God's Word preserved in the English language. II Peter 1:21; II Timothy 3:16; Ps. 12:6-7
2. GOD
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit . That God is supreme in His person, absolute in His attributes, glorious in His perfection, and eternal in His being. Gen 1:26,27; Ex. 20:2-3; Ps. 83:18; Ps. 90:2; I John 5:7; Rev. 4:11
3. JESUS CHRIST
We believe in the Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, His conception by the Holy Spirit, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His death on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins, His bodily resurrection, His exaltation at God's right hand, His personal, premillennial return. Isaiah 9:6; Matt. 1:20-23; John 1:29; John 3:16; Luke 23-33; John 19:30; II Corinthians 15: 1-6; Eph. 1:7; Luke 24:39; I Tim. 2:5-6; I Thess. 4:13-17; Phil. 3:20-21; Luke 1:32; Isaiah 11:1-10.
4. HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, one with the Father and the Son, the reprover of sin, the Indweller of every believer to enlighten, guide, and enable him in life, testimony, and service. John 15:26,27; John 14:7-11, Acts 5:3-4; II Corinthians 1:21,22; II Corinthians 3:18
5 MAN
We believe that God "created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." That man willfully sinned against God and became corrupt in his nature. He is dead in trespasses and sins and must be born again. Gen. 1:26-27; Psalms 51:5; Rom. 5:12; John 3:3-7
6. SALVATION
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures; that God made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. Romans 5:8; Romans 10:9-10; II Cor. 5:21; Rom. 3:24-26; Acts 17:30-31; Acts 16:31
7. BLOOD
We believe the blood shed by Jesus Christ on the cross to be the only and all sufficient remedy for the sin of man. That His blood alone makes an atonement for the soul. Lev. 17:11; Romans 5:8-11; Eph. 1:7; Col. 1:14; Heb. 9:12, 9:22; I Peter 1:18-21 Rev. 1:5
8. HELL
We believe in a literal, burning hell that God prepared for the devil and his angels. It is the place of everlasting, conscious punishment of the unbeliever, and will be cast one day into the Lake of Fire. Deut. 32:22; Psalm 9:17 Luke 16:22-26; Rev. 20:14
9. BAPTISM
We believe that baptism by immersion of a believer in water, in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost is the Biblical form of baptism that testifies to the believer's faith in, and identification with, the crucified, buried, risen, and soon coming Savior. Matt. 3:16; 28:19; Acts 8:26-39
10. SECURITY OF THE BELIEVER
We believe that those who put their faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ are born again of the the Holy Spirit, are the children of God, are heirs and joint heirs with Jesus Christ, are kept by the power of God, and can know they are eternally saved, once forever.
